Starting as a small market known as Brothers Colangelo Fruit Market, the family eventually took over the spaces of its neighboring businesses due to its increasing success. The family speaks about how COVID impacted their business for family reasons, rather than the expected change in sales. Colangelo Brothers Supermarket remains dedicated to their family’s philosophy: if it’s not good enough to serve to the Colangelo family, it is not good enough to sell to the general public.
