This interactive web map showcases all of the data collected through this project in 4 main regions: Toronto, York, Halton & Peel and Hamilton. Data is also being added for the Kitchener & Waterloo, Peterborough & Kawartha Lakes and Niagara regions.
About the Data
The data that is present in the map above was collected by the Mapping Italian Canadian Foodways Research Team, students in various Italian Studies courses at the University of Toronto, and Work Study Students. As of April 2022, the database includes more than 700 establishments, all of which are present on the project map.
